HARDYES - EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES
This website is aimed at 14-18 year old students taking GCSE, GCE AS and A2 exams in the UK. As there are a number of different examination boards across the UK with various courses offered by each - this website will focus its resources on the boards used by the Thomas Hardye School* in Dorchester, Dorset - a 13-19 mixed Voluntary Aided School with over 2,000 students including 700 in ther sixth form. While there are diffferent examination boards, the curriculum remains the same for all, and so the resources available from this website should not only be useful for students taking exams in Dorchester, but across the UK as a whole.
The aim of this website is to provide appropriate resources for students taking GCSE and GCE examinations in Dorchester - if you have ever tried to obtain these resources for yourself, you know it can be quite daunting - first of all you have to establish which board the school uses, then you have to work out which particular course they follow (there can be more than one course from a single examination board leading to the same qualification!). After that, you will have to establish where to get these resources. Navigation of the examination board websites can be particularly difficult, and here is where this resource may prove useful.
Currently we have added information regarding the Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Chemistry examinations for GCSE - these are all modular exams and the past papers are available by clicking the appropriate subject link.
BEWARE ... further content is looming!
